The interview is the real goal, at least initially, of the job-seeker. No one gets a job offer without one! A good interview is like a good conversation, a relaxed exchange of information between two or more people resulting in knowledge gained on both sides. If the interviewer and interviewee are comfortable and at ease, then the exchange can be pleasant, although it is a structured talk about the job and how the interviewee may qualify for it, hopefully bringing added value to the firm.

This is an integral, critical part of the process for the applicant: making the interviewer like and trust the applicant while seeing the value the person would bring to the company. The key here is gaining the interview…the hardest part of the search!
